Graham Giles
Studied at Regent Street Polytechnic and Chelsea Schools of Art, with post-graduate at the Royal Academy of Art, Stockholm and Beaux Arts, Paris. He came to Suffolk in 1962 with a scholarship from the Royal Academy, and has lived and worked here ever since, exhibiting in London at Cadogan Contemporary, and at John Russell Gallery in Ipswich, and lecturing at Colchester, Camberwell and Norwich Schools of Art.
His work is a direct response to place and the forces of nature, relishing the expressive power of paint and exploring formats such as diptych.
