Studied at Chelsea School of Art and Suffolk College. Lecturer in graphic design and packaging at University Campus Suffolk.
Member of Ipswich Art Society
Chairman of SG 1999 – 2007.
Recent exhibitions include: Christchurch Mansion; Woodgates; Chelmsford Cathedral Festival; 4th International Biennale St Petersburg; Butley; The Cut Halesworth; North House Manningtree; Reunion Felixstowe; Thompson’s Aldeburgh; SHED at Peppermint House Sproughton.
Having exhibited in E Anglia for the past twenty-three years, is known principally (if at all) for works on paper which involve the close study of light effects in interiors and “found” still lives to evoke an abstract sense of place or subtle drama.
Other current work includes paper engineering: a personal interest in the teaching of graphic design, and a remnant from a former life as a designer-maker. Previous work includes sculpture and surface design.
